Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can self-refer and book online. We do recommend letting your GP know, and with your consent we send them a copy of your diagnostic report.
How long will I wait?
Appointments are typically available within 2 days of booking — you’ll see live availability when you book. Reports follow within 10 days.
Is a private diagnosis valid?
Yes. Our assessments follow NICE guidance and DSM-5 criteria and are conducted by experienced clinicians. Reports are accepted for workplace adjustments, DSA and shared care requests, though individual GP practices make their own shared care decisions.
Will my GP prescribe after diagnosis?
Once treatment is stable, we request an NHS shared care agreement. Most practices accept; where one declines, private prescribing remains available and we’ll explain the costs clearly before you decide anything.
Can you assess me by video?
Yes — assessments are available in person or by secure video call, with no difference in thoroughness or validity.
What if I’m not diagnosed with ADHD?
You receive the same full report, with honest findings and signposting to appropriate support. Around one in five assessments has a different outcome — our independence means you get the right answer, not an automatic one.
What does it cost?
The diagnostic assessment is £395, with no hidden extras — see our pricing page for the full list. Payment is taken securely online when you book, in full or spread over time with Klarna or Clearpay.
